Job Title: Legal Assistant Trusts & Estates
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday Friday, 37.5 hours/week (Flexible between 8:00 5:00)
Work Arrangement: On-site for first 90 days, then hybrid (2 days WFH)
Salary: $65,000 $85,000 annually

LHH is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our client's Trusts and Estates practice in Seattle. This role requires a strong communicator with a solid understanding of probate processes and estate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file probate pleadings
Assist with drafting estate planning documents
Support federal and WA state estate tax return prep (exhibits, asset summaries)
Maintain physical and electronic files
Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
Scan, copy, and organize legal materials
Maintain calendars and schedule court dates, meetings, and appointments
Communicate with clients, court staff, and vendors
Witness client document signings and provide client hospitality
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in trusts and estates legal support
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with NetDocs, Adobe, and DocuSign preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines efficiently
