Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and onboard U.S. customers for LTL, FTL and drayage
- Negotiate with transportation providers to obtain the best rates and service
- Build carrier capacity by establishing and strengthening carrier relationships
- With timeliness and attention to detail, thoroughly track and document all shipments assigned
- Provide shipment capacity forecasts to carriers and freight forwarders
- Provide spot logistics solutions and freight quotations to internal customers as needed
- Ensure the agreed service levels are met, drive correction actions where necessary
- Lead efforts to identify and implement continuous improvement processes that result in lower operational costs
- Review and verify invoices per service agreements and transportation schedules
- Communicate with buyers and buyer assistants in trucking needs
Qualifications: Qualifications
- 3-5 years of working experience in Logistics Sales and Trucking
- 4-year college degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and results oriented
- Positive "Can-do" attitude
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Be able to adapt to fast-pace working environment
