Position Summary

The Lease Sales & Account Management Representative is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, conducting sales calls, assists in building truck specs, developing rate sheets, and making presentations to prospects and customers within their assigned territory, and maintaining assigned existing accounts. The successful Lease Sales & Account Management Representative will generate sales volume and revenue profit by prospecting and winning new B2B customers, retaining existing customers, and expand existing customers to increase their volume/revenue of business with Rihm Leasing.

Territory Covered: Focusing on the metro and the surrounding Areas

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Lead
  • Build relationships with Leasing Customers by acting as a transportation consultant, conducting quarterly reviews, and managing the voice of the customer process.
  • Helps customers solve problems, provides technical assistance guidance as needed and informs customers on new product developments.
  • Advises management of all changes in assigned territory/market segment which can affect Rihm Family Companies' success.
Manage
  • Manages the sales process with customers through visits, documentation preparation and presentation, and other methods to ensure communication is clear and understood.
  • Keeps current with factory, vendor and competition new product and communicates to internal team as
  • needed.
  • Studies market population and conduct surveys/research of assigned territory/market segment(s) to locate new prospects.
  • Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Consults with clients' after-service equipment to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Resolves any customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pro-actively manages lease customers by resolving operational and financial conflicts by communicating
  • issues with the appropriate internal personnel/department.
  • Answers customer's questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
Accountability:
  • Effectively establishes and maintains relationships with customers to determine customer/prospects needs.
  • Maintaining and utilizing the Rihm Sales Force CRM system
  • Maintains call records and makes this information available to management through compliant use of funnel
  • report and/or individual business plans.
  • Plans sales call, makes presentations based on customers' needs and interests, recommends the benefit of
  • using our product(s) and explains and emphasizes all the advantages of doing business with all segments of
  • Rihm Family Companies.
  • Develop specs and pricing for leads/customers based on company standard operating procedures and
  • guidelines.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals that meet specific customer needs, reviews credit, and delivery dates. Secures profitable orders to meet individual or exceed individual quotas as assigned.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly delivered to customers and meets all conditions of sale. Provides customers with demonstrations of all vehicle controls, options, and features.
  • Maintains a schedule of quarterly check-in meetings with lease customers to maintain the relationship, ascertain
  • any concerns or additional needs, and to plan for unit renewals.
  • Follows and maintains appropriate office and company standard operating procedures, policies and
  • etiquette.
  • Promotes and markets company's truck inventory.
  • Participates in product demonstrations and meetings, completes all required training, and identifies
  • prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in
  • organizations and clubs and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business requirements.
Preferred Education & Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or more
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some college
  • 2+ years commercial truck and/or heavy-duty equipment sales experience
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and customer experience required, preferably in the service and transportation industry
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus (Spanish or other languages)

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, prioritization skills, and organizational skills.
  • Regular, predictable, and full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Travel Requirement:
