Truck Driver with Security Clearance

Truck Driver, Miramar, CA THIS POSITION REQUIRES A NACI CLEARANCE SUMMARY The Truck driver operates a truck to transport materials and equipment between various locations. The driver may also be responsible for loading and unloading materials and equipment in support of the Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). The primary objective of the CSP is to provide organization and individual issue, recovery, storage, requisitioning, maintenance and repair, management (including visibility, accountability, automated shelf-life management, and forecasting) for equipment to support the warfighter. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Order Filler: $21.91 per hour Pay commensurate with experience. Full time SCA benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates truck, 1 1/2 to 4 tons inclusive, usually 6 wheels. This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order. Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Five (5) years relevant experience. Demonstrated driving safety record KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to pass a drug screen Must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC) investigation to obtain base access and DoD computer system access. Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight. Ability to remain calm under pressure and be accommodating. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Proficiency with phone systems, database, MS Windows, MS Office and tracking systems. Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and standing for long periods of time.
