Additional Information
We deliver our fabricated glass products to the customers located on the East Cost and Mid-West. It will be a mix of overnight and local trips in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, North East (D.C., MD, NJ, NY, PA), and Mid-West.
Pay consist of hourly and/or per mile plus per diem, incentive for NYC deliveries.
JOB INFORMATION:- Job Location: Home Terminal: Ridgeway, VA
- Route Type: VA, Washington D.C., MD, NJ, NY, PA, OH, MA, (out 2-3 nights a week), weekends at home
- Trailers: Flatbed, open and enclosed Rack trailer, Conestoga trailer
- What product(s) you will be hauling: Racks or crates of fabricated glass products
- Transmission Type: Manual and Automatic
- Pay: bi-weekly, mix of hourly and/or per mile plus per diem
- Inspecting vehicles: pre and post trips as required by DOT and communicating if repairs are required
- Maintaining ELD: (electronic logs) using device provided
- Securing material before moving loads, assist in unloading of material (may consist of manual assistance, boom, or Moffett)
- Checking counts of material for accuracy and for damages
- Planning routes and delivery schedules with Supervisor
- Communicate with customers
JOB REQUIRMENTS:- License: CLASS A CDL
- Experience: 24+ months (clear driving record)
- Handling: Moffett, Boom lift, Touch freight, Flat Bed
- Have experience in driving manual transmission
- Must have good communication skills and people skills
- Basic Computer Skills
