Triage Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic
A great opportunity has arisen with a forward-thinking GP Surgery in Stockton-on-Tees, looking for either a Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic to get involved in triage on a part-time basis, working on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This role primarily involves phone-based triage, working through a list to help direct patients to the appropriate clinician or service. There is scope to add a third day, which would involve more clinical appointments, but the main focus remains on the two days of full triage.
The ideal candidate will have Primary Care experience and prior triage experience. This practice is highly regarded, with a superb reputation among patients.

Salary
£50,000 - £53,000 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 6 weeks annual leave pro rata + Bank Holidays + 1 week study leave + Indemnity

Your Role
- Work as a Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic for two days (Wednesday and Thursday)
- Phone-based triage, directing patients to the appropriate clinician or service
- Option to add a clinical day for acute, on-the-day presentations
- Prescribing is a minimum requirement
- Collaborate with other nurses and allied health professionals
