Treasury Manager
Location: New Braunfels, TX

Compensation: Up to $130,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
About the Role Our client, a stable and well-established organization partnered with CFS, is seeking a Treasury Manager to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing all activities related to cash, investments, and banking relationships. The Treasury Manager will also assist in the preparation of both STAT and GAAP financial reporting for invested assets and support the statutory accounting team.
Key Responsibilities -
Maintain accurate records of company-held investments, cash, and cash equivalents.

Oversee monthly investment and bank account reconciliations.

Prepare quarterly and annual statutory statements for invested assets, cash flow statements, and capital adequacy analyses.

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP and statutory financial statements.

Generate month-end treasury reports for executive leadership and the parent organization.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all banking relationships and act as the system administrator for banking platforms.

Provide documentation and support for independent audits.

Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications -
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field; MBA preferred.

At least 7 years of treasury experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role-preferably within the property & casualty insurance industry.

Professional certifications such as CTP, CFA, or CPA are highly desirable.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
