Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial reporting and account reconciliation as needed.
  • Assist with identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, including leveraging digital tools to automate and improve efficiency in Company processes.
  • Assist with other duties on an as-needed basis including supporting the accounting for acquisitions and divestitures, capital markets transactions, and technical accounting projects.
  • Assist FP&A manager to direct and coordinate all cash management including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management. Responsible for managing the daily operational needs for cash management.
  • Recommend enhancements to maximize utilization of cash assets, improve processing efficiency, minimize idle cash balances and optimize banking structures.
  • Ability to process payment files for ACH and wire transfers as needed.
  • Oversee implementation of HRIS payroll module and respective monthly and quarterly payroll reporting.
  • Experience to ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll information reported to government agencies and included in quarterly and year-end tax filings.
  • Ability to prepare and record monthly journal entries for payroll and benefits as needed
  • Ability to maintain payroll system for accurate reporting of taxes and deductions to guarantee compliance with legislation and follow company-specific policies.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and employment and tax laws, rules and regulations related to payroll preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication, organization, consultative, recordkeeping, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong capability for independently working and presenting on complicated projects at an executive level
  • Proven ability to work with individuals within and outside of the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding matters pertaining to the project/assignment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to be fully responsible and accountable for the timely performance of all specified job duties

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • CPA or CTP is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 plus years of accounting/treasury experience required
  • 2-4 years multi-state payroll administration including implementation, integration, variable pay elements.
  • Full-cycle accounting knowledge required
  • Willing to work in an open, team environment
  • Demonstrated success and proven ability to multi-task, adhere to strict guidelines, work well with others, and complete tasks with discretion, accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced and demanding work environment

Salary Range:

  • $145,000 - $170,000
