Treasury & Cash Management Analyst - HNW Investment Office A prestigious family office with significant investments in residential real estate is seeking a Treasury/Cash Management Analyst to join its team in Midtown Manhattan. This is a standalone role reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and CFO. This position will be responsible for managing family office cash and accounts payable transactions, maintaining relationships with multiple banks and family office vendors, and handle partnership accounting, including preparing all distribution, contribution, and reserve calculations.
Responsibilities:- Monitor daily cash positions across all operating and investment accounts.
- Process and initiate wire and ACH transfers through online banking systems.
- Oversee all family office vendors, maintaining updated records and ensuring prompt payment of invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct reviews of transaction activity, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze and manage credit card accounts, reviewing monthly activity for consistency with policies and reporting requirements.
- Track, investigate, and resolve banking discrepancies such as unposted deposits or erroneous transactions.
- Prepare calculations for partnership distributions, capital contributions, and reserve allocations as needed for investment and operational reporting.
- Provide detailed documentation for all banking transactions to facilitate accurate general ledger journal entries.
- Monitor all daily bank activity, flagging any unusual transactions, and ensuring timely communication with the accounts receivable and payable teams.
- Assist with various administrative and office management tasks to support the efficient running of the family office.
Experience/ Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting, treasury, or family office administration experience.
- Proficient in online banking platforms and familiar with managing complex cash transactions.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with V-lookups and pivot tables; proficiency in MS Word.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Yardi accounting software is a plus.
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 plus bonus, 401K match and comprehensive health benefits.
