Our oil and gas client is seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to join their company. This position is responsible for managing key treasury functions, including issuing letters of credit, assessing foreign currency exposure, and reviewing financial agreements. The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in financial analysis, compliance, and reporting while collaborating across departments to ensure effective treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst

  • Oversee the issuance and management of global letters of credit.
  • Assist in processing and reviewing global funding requests.
  • Analyze foreign currency exposures and assess financial risks.
  • Conduct customer credit evaluations to support financial decision-making.
  • Review drilling contracts from a treasury perspective.
  • Prepare and present treasury reports for leadership and the CFO.
  • Support compliance with debt covenants and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and SOX requirements.
  • Contribute to treasury projects related to bank account management and process improvement.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis for special projects.

Treasury Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields from an accredited institution required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in corporate treasury, finance, or a related function.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (preferably PeopleSoft).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of financial and logical functions, managing multiple worksheets, and importing/exporting data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
