Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Accountant:
- Perform complex accounts payable processing, including payments for benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
- Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts across three operating entities.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including support for financial audits.
- Prepare and file compliance reports for worker's compensation, sales tax, property tax, and assist with annual audits.
- Generate and upload ACH (NACHA) files, wire drawdowns, and positive pay files using multiple platforms and bank portals.
- Process high-volume banking transactions, supporting up to 100 payrolls daily.
- Liaise with Payroll and Client Relations teams to troubleshoot and prioritize payroll funding issues via email, messaging, and phone.
Qualifications of the Treasury Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable and treasury functions.
- Strong knowledge of ACH and NACHA file processing and technical proficiency with banking systems.
