Job Description
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders.
  • Review work progress daily and resolve any arising issues.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  • Coordinate with architects and engineers for project execution.
  • Conduct quality control activities to ensure high work standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Traveling Superintendent: Big Box Retail - Ground Up' should have:
  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Superior communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle work-related stress.
  • A degree in construction management or a related field.
