Description
The Traveling Project Manager - Massive Data Center Projects will be responsible for:
- Traveling across major data center sites, typically for 18-24 months
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of data center construction projects from start to finish
- Developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely execution
- Enforcing safety regulations and quality control standards
- Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, permits, and compliance requirements
- Driving project progress and proactively resolving on-site challenges
- Fostering a collaborative work environment while leading project teams effectively
Profile
The Traveling Project Manager - Massive Data Center Projects will have:
- Seeking Project Managers with experience on large-scale Data Center projects ($250M+)
- Strong tenure is key - no frequent job changes (max 3 roles in the last 7 years)
- Experience must be with General Contractors - not Developers or Clients
- Open to candidates without Data Center experience if they have strong MEP, Hospital, or Life Sciences backgrounds
- Looking for confident, proactive, and results-driven professionals - no hesitation on the job
Job Offer
The Traveling Project Manager - Massive Data Center Projects will receive:
- Competitive salary up to $200K+ for qualified candidates
- 10% bonus on base for traveling employees
- $1,000/month travel allowance
- $2,500/month living allowance
