A Day at ApexNetwork: As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play an essential role in delivering excellent patient care by performing a variety of administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls and processing patient referrals
- Obtaining pre-authorizations for visits
- Accurately scheduling patient appointments with attention to detail
- Ensuring all intake paperwork is completed accurately before patient visits
- Maintaining patients' electronic medical charts
- Managing daily patient payment collections
- Assisting therapists with treatment room setup and observation according to the therapist's care plan
- Typing notes, letters, marketing materials, and other documents as needed
- Performing light cleaning and maintaining the physical therapy treatment area
- Providing front desk support across Illinois and Missouri locations as required
What We're Looking For: - A passion for patient care and a dedication to continuous learning.
- Experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
- Understanding of health insurance processes is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and great attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for traveling between regional offices
Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly Range: $16.50- $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
