Must be able to work independently performing ultrasound general exams, Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials.
Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the referring physician and radiologist.
Assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department. Qualifications: Education:
Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program. Associate's degree or higher. Certification Requirements:
General Certifications(BLS/BCLS); Allied Health Certifications(ARRT(R ),ARDMS(OB),ARDMS(NE),ARDMS(BR),ARDMS(AB
Current compliance with continuing medical education (CME). Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in diagnostic medical sonography. Experience in performing a variety of ultrasound exams is preferred.
Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
