Perform general and vascular ultrasound procedures to create diagnostic images of the human body.
Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
Enter required patient information into the computer to become part of the test record. Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program. Certification Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
RDMS certification in one or more of the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, echo.
CPR Certification: Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers. Experience: Looking for a technologist that is proficient in the areas of Abdomen, Breast, Small Parts, Vascular, OB/GYn 1st-3rd trimester including fetal surveys and BPP w/o non stress testing.
willing to take call and help out in other areas of the department when there are lower volumes in Ultrasound. Imaging unit: GE Logiq E10.
