On Call Requirements: None Description:
Responsible for quality and efficient completion of sonographic procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
Responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge in sonographic procedures including, but not limited to OB/GYN, ABD, Pedi, MSK, RVT/RT. Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Certification Requirements:
ARDMS or ARRT registration in Sonography.
Current BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
State license must be active. Experience:
Prior experience as a practicing Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
Will be encouraged to cross-train to into other modalities including, but not limited to CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography.
Ability to learn and work with all electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS.
