Department Information:

o 3 machines

o Census? Average patients/day? 21 patients with possibly at least 30 exams due to some combined exams in one appointment slot

o Minimum Years of Experience required? 1.5 years as a Vascular US Tech

o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Possibly, will consider

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

o CAD, Arrythmia Management, HTN, Valvular Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Heart Murmurs, AFIB, Chest Pain, High Cholesterol, Atherosclerosis, Abnormal Heart Defects, AAA, CAD/Coronary Artery Stenosis, Venous Insufficiency, Intermittent Claudication, DVT, PAD, Dialysis Graft/Fistula Management, Pulmonary HTN

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

o ARDMS-RVT or ARRT-RVS only

o BLS

o NC State Licensure is not required

Skills required:

o Dedicated vascular lab experience

Support within the Department:

o Department Leadership; Peers

o Department is typically staffed with a 3-person team

Technology/Equipment:

o EMR: EPIC, ISCV (Philips) image reporting system - is this required experience or only preferred? Neither is required. But a plus if they have those experience. ISCV will not be as common so possibly not many people have that.

o Department specific Equipment: Mostly GE ultrasound machines

Floating: If yes, where?

o No

Orientation (facility and unit):

o 2 days-1 week departmental

Scheduling:

o No weekends

o No call

o No holidays

o RTO: Manager approval

o Shift times: Weekday 7:30-16:00

o Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks

Other notes:

o Scrub Color: Black pants and Galaxy Blue top

o Parking: Free

o Department Culture: Mostly a 3-person team with additional trainees
