Position Overview:
Client is urgently seeking a qualified Echo Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound tests in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms, in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound techniques and the operation of digital ultrasound equipment.
- Complete daily scheduled tests within the appropriate time frame, ensuring accuracy and quality for population-specific groups.
- Prepare patients for procedures and effectively explain the testing process to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
- Navigate through electronic medical records to document procedures and patient information accurately.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Must be registered through either ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).
- Strong understanding of cardiac ultrasound and related technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting.
