  • RN Telemetry ACT: Advance Cardiac Therapy
  • Scope of role: Advanced Cardiac Therapy Unit. Primary patient populations are Heart Failure patients or patients with cardiac primary diagnosis (NSTEM, STEMI, s/p Watchman or Cath Procedures, New onset A-fib, A-fib w/ RVR).
  • Manage cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Heparin) and IV pushes of Metoprolol, Lopressor, Digoxin, Cardizem, etc.
  • MS/Tele patients with cardiac history.
  • Preferred experience/skills: Telemetry Knowledge (Rhythm Interpretation)
  • Years of experience required: 1-2 years MS/Tele experience
  • Number of beds in unit: 24
  • Float departments: Neuro Science, MS4B, MS3C, NSP4A, Tele 5A, Tele 5B, ED Holds, Oncology
  • Dept scrub color: Navy Blue
  • EMR: Cerner
  • TRAVELERS SUBMITTED MUST ATTACH REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS OR WILL BE REJECTED
  • TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM FACILITY - LOCAL CANDIDATES NOT ACCEPTED.

    Schedule Information
  • Shift: Nights 7p-7a, every other weekend (Fri & Sat)
  • No call

  • Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5 but no more than 1:6
