The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe, sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases. This includes gathering of all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets. The employee must be conscientious with regards to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department. They must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program and possesses a current ORT cert Current OR experience is essential BCLS required Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff and sales and repair reps
