Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Prepare the operating room (clean, sterile, and stocked).
- Verify patient information and surgical site.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Set up sterile field and drape the patient.
- Assist with patient positioning on the operating table.
- Gather necessary surgical supplies and instruments.
- Assist with wound closure (suturing or stapling).
- Apply surgical dressings and bandages.
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Prepare and set up the cardiovascular operating room for procedures such as open-heart surgery, bypass, valve replacement, or vascular grafting.
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment specific to cardiovascular procedures.
