We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the rehab team at a 172-bed Level II Trauma & Teaching Hospital in Monterey County. As the only trauma center in the region, this hospital offers a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment with both inpatient and outpatient care settings.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift: Variable 8-hour day shifts with some weekend coverage
  • Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient speech therapy services
  • Facility: Voted Best Hospital in Salinas Valley (2022)
  • Team Support: Orientation with a "buddy system" before treating independently

This is a great opportunity for an SLP ready to make a difference in patients' recovery journeys in a trauma-informed, interdisciplinary setting.

Requirements: Active California SLP License BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP Must be comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient environments Charting Systems: Inpatient: MediTech Outpatient: Redoc Dress Code: Inpatient: Any professional color scrubs (no logos) Outpatient: Business casual (no jeans or hoods; closed-toe shoes required) Orientation: Start any day of the week Includes facility, department, and unit training New staff will shadow a peer before working independently
