40hr Days, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, 1 weekend per month, E/O Holiday. MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO MULTIPLE UNITS, AS NEEDED - to include, but not limited to Medical Step Down, Post Partum, and Labor & Delivery Triage. Required Exp: 2 years + post MSW, Emergency Department, Medical Social Work, Case Management, Brief Treatment, ICU, Critical Care. This is not a discharge planner position. Must be comfortable with: responding to the traumas, being exposed to traumatic injuries, being present when/if patients expire and providing bereavement support to family members. Preferred Exp: Cultural Responsiveness, Generalist Social Work, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Mandated Reporting, Trauma Management and Support, Managing Complex Psychosocial Barriers (Housing, Immigration, Financial Insecurity), Planning Family Meetings, Collaborating in Goals of Care Conversations, Interfacing with Interdisciplinary teams, Attending Multidisciplinary Rounds, Addressing Advanced Care Planning Needs, Providing Support around. Required Certs: MSW, Mass LCSW .
