The Seasonal Physical Therapist is responsible for the implementation of the physician's order for physical therapy services.
Provide all necessary aspects of physical therapy within an interdisciplinary environment to facilitate patient return to an independent and safe lifestyle.
Utilize growth and development knowledge base in care of pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
Assess data reflective of patient's status to identify age-specific needs and provide appropriate care.

Able to perform patient evaluations using appropriate functional tests and measures.
Ability to assimilate objective measures with social factors, medical stability, activity restrictions, participation limitations, and comorbidities to determine functional deficits.
Construct short term, long term, and personal/family goals with appropriate frequency and duration to establish therapy diagnosis and plan of care.
Demonstrate ability to tolerate physically demanding tasks including moving equipment and patients using safety measures.
Demonstrate proper, secure documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.
Use critical thinking in patient evaluation and treatment planning.
Understand moist heat and other physical agent modalities as applied to each area of practice.
Utilize age-specific patient care indicators as necessary per plan of care.
Understand musculoskeletal, nervous, and integumentary systems utilizing age-specific patient care indicators.
Identify learning needs of patient or family members.
Work as a team member to assist patient/family at all points of entry into acute therapy care system.
