- Patient Ratios: 5-7:1
- Type of equipment: Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD's, Bladder scanner
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Procedures performed on unit: Med administration to include IV's, PICC, PEG tube admin; Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration
Job Requirements - Must have: Med/Surg or PCU experience
- BLS and VA License
- Preferred: Rehab experience
Schedule Information - Scheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekend
- Floating policy: may be floated to other Med Surg depts.
Unit Specific Information - Unit staffing description: Techs per census, usually 2-4
- Patient Experience requirements: Rehab experience preferred
- Advanced skills needed: none
Additional Details - Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs
