Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required Equivalent to graduation from high school and successful completion of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy. Credentialed by the NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist at time of hire. High school diploma or GED Basic Life Support Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years High Risk Competency required within 3 months of hire and every year Experience Required Two years' experience as a certified Respiratory Therapist preferred. Knowledge of Respiratory care modalities for adults, pediatrics, and neonatal patients Skills in Use of mechanical ventilators skillfully and offers alternative solutions; cardiopulmonary resuscitation Ability to Accurately interpret arterial blood gases; use of mechanical ventilators; work alone/unsupervised Work under adverse conditions such as communicable infectious diseases "We are an equal opportunity employer.
