Job Description:
-Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.

Shift Details:
-Varied shifts.
-Weekends/Holidays required.
-Floating required - may need to support PresNow (UC/ED) locations.
-May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
-On call, weekends, and holidays required.
-Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
-Traveling pairs are NOT guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
-Position will float to other areas as needed.


Additional Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience:
-Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
-At least one 13 week previous travel assignment.
-Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
-EPIC experience; can train on-site.

Required Education:
-High School Diploma or GED.
-Complete an accredited respiratory care education program from a school approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-NM State RRT license.
-BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross .
-ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
-PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
-NRP certification .
