Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care Schedule:- 36 hours/week
- 12-hour night shifts (PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
Required Experience: - Minimum 5 years recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Advanced critical care experience in:
- Medical ICU (MICU)
- Surgical ICU (SICU)
- Proficient with lung protective ventilation techniques
- Active role in Code Blue team participation
- Capable of making independent ventilator decisions based on assessments and lab results
- EPIC EMR proficiency is required
Preferred Experience: - Experience in a Level III Neonatal ICU (NICU)
- Familiarity with Dräger XL and V500 ventilators
Required Certifications: - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - required
- Massachusetts Respiratory Care License - active
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - active
- NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty) or ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialty) - preferred
