Job Summary: -The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. -This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. -Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and/or the situation. -Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues. -Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation. -Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. -Implements the identified plan.
