Experience:• 12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience is required from last 3 months.
• BSN completion required
Requirements:• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>30 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details: A badge photo for facility ID must be provided for submission.
All Travelers must be willing to work Days / Evenings / Nights / Weekends / Holidays.
RTO must be submitted with application for approval. Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.
Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.
All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.

Float Pool - ICU/ER/MS/MST - Required
Day/Night shift rotation - 7a-7p/7p-7a
Every Other Weekend
Holiday Rotation
4 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
Float Pool role - must be able to float between both GGH and SSMH locations If taking 48-hour vs. 36-hour contract, no On Call required
Must be cross trained for multi units (med/surg, ICU, ER)
Must have critical care experience
Must be comfortable floating to ICU/ER/MS/MST
Certifications: Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patient group
Maximum days off: 7 days
2 references from any number of months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
