General Information: o Machines: Philips, Agfa, Siemens and Carestream - 100% Digital Radiography. C-Arm is GE OEC. o Years of Experience? 2 years preferred but not required o Will Accept a First-time traveler? Yes o Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff Patient Types/Equipment types: o Standard patient makeup - Inpatient, Outpatient and ER (Trauma Level 2) Required Certifications: o BLS (preferred) o ARRT o State License from LSRTBE Skills required: o Experience with the above-mentioned patient types o General diagnostic, basic Fluoroscopy and Surgery experience preferred. Charting System/Equipment: o EMR: Meditech Floating: o Units: between sites (15 minutes driving time) o Do Travelers float first? No, rotational Orientation: o 1 day hospital and 1-2 weeks on unit Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: yes, as part of a 2-week rotation. Every other weekend with 12hr rotation. o Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (this is mandatory) o Our 12hr. day shifts work with 2 or 3 other 12hr. techs. and numerous 8hr techs.
