Radiology Technologist
Santa Fe, NM
13 weeks
SHIFT - 36 hour work week M-Thursday 8-5pm, Friday 8-12 noon.
REQUIRED:ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association.
POSITION TITLE: Clinic Radiologic Technologist
DEPARTMENT: Clinics
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs radiographic procedures in a medical office as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT and New Mexico State licenses required.
SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills.
EXPERIENCE:Minimum one year experience required which can be substituted with clinical education experience.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
-Responsible to:Manager, Clinic; Receives technical direction from the Medical Director of Radiology for CSVRMC and remains in compliance with standards monitored by the CSVRMC Radiation Safety Officer.

- Bloodborne pathogen C
Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged, extensive or considerate standing and walking.Lifts, positions, pushes and or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs with assistance.
