Job Title: Radiology Technician
Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 4X10.
Schedule Notes: Start times 10am or 12pm. 4 x 10s, Willing to work holidays and take call as needed.
Weekend Requirements: every other weekend.
On Call Requirements: None. Description:
Performing radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound procedures competently.
Ensuring patient safety by safely transporting and transferring patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
Testing defibrillators and checking crash cart integrity.
Performing mobile imaging exams as needed.
Preparing contrast agents safely for medical imaging procedures. Qualifications:
Education:
Required:

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Master's Degree Licensing/Certification:
Required:

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
Radiologic Technologist (RT) licensure in the state of practice
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Current certification in at least one modality and competency in at least one additional advanced modality.
Options include: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography (S), Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
Certification in a secondary modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET)
