The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory protocols, accuracy in conducting tests, and the ability to analyze results critically.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
Prepare specimens for examination, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
Analyze test results, prepare reports, and document findings accurately.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other team members regarding test results and patient status.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay abreast of new developments and advancements in laboratory medicine.
Maintain laboratory records and inventory levels.
