Assignment Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Assignment Hours: Sunday 8-6, Monday & Tuesday 8-8, Wednesday 8-1
- Schedule (subject to change based on client needs):
Position Summary:
Performs all diagnostic radiologic examinations necessary for diagnosis. The radiologic technologist integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with patient interaction to ensure high-quality care and diagnostic accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum 2 years of radiography experience
- BLS
- Certificate and/or advanced technical training in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT-accredited)
- ARRT registry in Radiography
- NJDEP X-Ray License
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiologic procedures and patient care practices
- Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, appropriate machine settings, radiation exposure techniques, image acquisition, and post-processing
- Record patient history and relevant clinical information
- Review imaging orders, explain procedures, and provide excellent patient service
- Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and/or invasive radiological procedures
- Maintain department cleanliness and supply inventory
