58595 Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Administers prescribed radiation treatment, setting the necessary factors, and monitors both patient and control panel during the treatment. Prepares patients in exam rooms and assists the Radiation Oncologist with medical examinations. Prepares patients, rooms, and equipment for treatment and simulations and assists the Radiation Oncologist with simulations. May inject dye into skin of patient as a marker, providing there has been demonstration of appropriate training and skills to the satisfaction of the Oncologist. May administer contrast media retrograde into the urinary bladder in patient during simulation. Performs all necessary calibration on equipment as prescribed by the Radiation Safety Officer in accordance with the conditions of therapy license, or any other regulatory body. Observes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel. Records all patient doses and gathers all confidential history on patients, documents all reactions that the patient may have, and reports these findings to the radiologist. Updates patient examination history file, records unusual conditions/limitations, accurately documents appropriate information in daily log book, completes procedure, performs scheduling, consultation and billing procedures as required, performs other paperwork as applicable. Requirements 2+ years current Radiation Therapy experience - Required Oncology experience - Required VARIAN TRUEBEAM experience - REQUIRED ARIA (Treatment Record and Management) EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED Previous travel experience - Highly Preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need Certification Requirements ARRT BLS (AHA) NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy State License Requirements New Hampshire
