The Radiation Therapist is responsible forlocalization of treatment areas and administration of radiation treatments topatients under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. MinimumQualifications: Graduated from anaccredited Radiation Therapy school American HeartAssociation BLS American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT) Three (3) years ofexperience in a similar role and knowledge of electronic health recordoperating systems. EssentialJob Functions: Administers radiation therapy Ensures all documents required for treatmentare completed. Performs simulations and simulationradiography (i.e. CT, MRI, and PET) to localize treatment area while confirmingtreatment plan with the Radiation Oncologist.
