Travel RN Psych position with shift from 7A-7P.
Responsibilities include patient assessment and care planning within set time-frames, documentation according to policies.
Oversee and supervise the shift, including delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision.
Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered by self and team.
Monitor patient condition changes and notify physician as needed.
Follow hospital policy for medication administration.

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program or relevant state licensure required.
Previous experience in psychiatric health care facility preferred, including work with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients.
Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations preferred.
Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing required.
CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
