Job Details - A hospital in southern Idaho is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to work a 13 week travel contract.
- The PT must have 2+ years experience.
Job Requirements - BLS
- Active PT license in Idaho
- Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience.
Schedule Information - 4 10's-
- Rotating weekends- about every 4th weekend
- Holiday Requirements: As needed.
Unit Specific Information - This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
Additional Details - Department: Physical Therapy
- Unit: Physical Therapy Magic Valley Hospital Flr 2
- of patients treated per day: 10 to 12. 6-7 PTs working per day.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Ortho-total joints, neuro- strokes, occasional brain injuries, don't see TBI; medical, and General ICU.
- Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient: Acute Inpatient and Rehab.
- What areas are they required to cover: Acute Inpatient and Rehab, potentially ICU- depends on experience and need for ICU.
- EMR: EPIC
- Is there a PT Manager/Supervisor on each shift: Manager
- Do you staff Rehab Aides: PTAs?: Rehab aides and 2 PTAs.
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in the department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8's to accommodate the onboarding schedule.
