Physical Therapist
- Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional limitations through comprehensive assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations, physician referrals, and patient goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and mobility training to improve strength, endurance, and coordination.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and techniques to improve functional independence.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to coordinate care.
- Instruct patients in the proper use of assistive devices such as crutches, walkers, braces, and prosthetics.
- Promote patient safety and comfort during all phases of physical therapy.
