Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Dispensing Medications
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure they are appropriate for the patient.
2. Patient Counseling
- Educate patients on how to take their medications safely and effectively.
- Discuss potential side effects, interactions, and storage instructions.
3. Medication Management
- Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety.
- Conduct medication reviews, especially for patients with chronic diseases or multiple prescriptions.
4. Ensuring Drug Safety
- Check for potential drug interactions and allergies.
- Ensure prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory standards
Required: - BLS Active Pharmacist License for PA covid card 2 Professional references Skill checklist to be completed
