Job Description:
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
- Dispense prescribed medications and verify proper dosage and instructions.
- Provide drug information and counsel to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient medication therapies for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed, inventory, and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Stay current with pharmaceutical research, new drugs, and changes in formulary.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
Mandatory Skills:
Required 3+ Years experience.
Pharmacist License.
Required 3-years' experience. Certifications & Licenses: ACLS (AHA or ARC) BLS (AHA or ARC) RN License Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Vision Insurance 401k after 30 days
