MANAGER INTERVIEW UNIT RRT Required Must have NICU/PICU Level 3 Experience Will work with General/NICU/PICU patient population Must Provide proof of application for LA license if not already obtained General Information: of Treatment Areas: Will work through all campuses 20-25 minutes driving distance Willis Knighton Medical Center - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele Willis Knighton Bossier - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele L&D - High Risk Deliveries Willis Knighton Pierremont - ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, L&D - High Risk Deliveries Willis Knighton South NICU/PICU/Peds Level 3 NICU and PICU and Adults ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, L&D High Risk Deliveries Minimum experience required: 2+ years required must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting NICU/PICU Will you accept a first-time traveler? No, must have completed at least (1) 13-week assignment Patient Types (Common Diagnoses): COPD, CHF, Flu, Pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, Lung CA, Stroke, ALS, s/p CABG, s/p Liver/Kidney Transplant, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Radical Head/Neck surgeries requiring tracheostomy Minor Trauma MVA GBS, RSV, Cystic Fibrosis, high risk delivery neonates Required Certifications: BLS required NRP required ACLS preferred PALS preferred National Accreditation through NBRC required Registered Respiratory Therapist highly preferred but not a deal breaker, CRT is accepted LA State Licensure required Valid driver's license will be floating to (4) different campuses during contract Proof of vehicle insurance Skills required: Must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU High risk delivery experience intubation of Neonate, if necessary Airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, Non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response experience, inhaled medication administration to include nitric oxide. Equipment Used: Servo U, Servo I, Trilogy, V60, EV300, Vapotherm HVT, Vapotherm Precision Flow, Airvo 2, Percussion Air IPV, ResMed Lumis TX (COPD) NICU - Oscillator, Neopuff for deliveries Support within the Department: Director of Respiratory Care Assistant Director of Respiratory Care 2 Shift Supervisors on site at WKMC (Days & Nights) 4 Team Leads will float between WKP and WK South (2 on Days; 2 on Nights) 4 RT Educators cover all campuses Department Coordinator WKP, WKB and WK South (2) Respiratory Therapists within department to provide EMR support to staff ECMO Critical Care Coordinator travelers will not work specifically with ECMO Charting System: Meditech Expanse Floating Required: Flexibility to float throughout all (4) campuses during contract is required Will work through all campuses 20-25 minutes driving distance Orientation: 2 days of NEO orientation for system Will orient to all (4) facilities within a 2 day period Will depend on experience and comfortability Scheduling: Will work 36/48 hr rotation Management is open to 7 on/7 off; 3/2 or 5/2 rotating weeks Shift Times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a Weekend rotation: Every other weekend Call not required OT may be available if approved by facility Holiday Expectations: As assigned unless RTO is in contract RTO: Must go through Manager for approval Other notes?
