Entry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care in various care settings including inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and outreach clinics.
Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders.
Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
Conducts post-procedure reviews to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
Transfers images and data to archival systems and prepares studies for physician reporting.
Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.

Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
