Job Details - Registered Nurse position specializing in cardiac care at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
- Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required.
- Skills required include Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, and Management of dysrhythmias.
Job Requirements - BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- NIH Stroke Certification required.
Schedule Information - Nights only, 36 hours per week.
- Weekend requirement: 4 per 4 weeks (flexible).
- Ratios: 1:4 for surgical step down, and 1:5-6 for lower acuity.
Unit Specific Information - Unit orientation: 24 hours.
- Special procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, and other cardiac surgeries.
Additional Details - Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
