Under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician who practices anatomic pathology, processes and documents specimens.
Collects and prepares samples for pathology analysis.
Conducts tissue and fluid examination, as needed.
Assists with conducting postmortem examinations.
Responsible for the organization of the laboratory and the provision of effective pathological service.
Ensures optimal utilization of resources and compliance with the operating standards of various health care governing and accrediting bodies.
