- Skills REQ: Critical care experience, Inpatient, Level I Trauma Center, Phase I PACU, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, Care of Ventilated patients, General
- Unit has own PCT/transport team
- Unit open 24/7. Consists of 38 patient bays. Staff needed for recovery of vast array of acute post op patients. Critical care experience required as some patients require artificial airways, invasive monitoring (including ICP), transfusions, and vasoactive drugs.
Job Requirements - At least 2-3 years Level 1 ICU experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Critical care experience required.
Schedule Information - No weekends, no call, no holidays
- Open to accommodating block schedule: No
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned
- RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
Unit Specific Information - Pt. population includes adults, occasional adolescents, and geriatric population in level 1 trauma center.
