Shifts - Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Submission Requirements:
- BLS Certification (AHA)- Required
- 2+ years of experience as Ophthalmic Technician-Required
Job Duties (Not Limited To):
- Performing diagnostic tests such as visual field testing and optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Measuring and recording patients' visual acuity and eye pressure
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures and administering eye medications as directed by the ophthalmologist
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and operational
- Collecting patient medical histories and preparing them for the ophthalmologist
- Educating patients about eye care, treatment plans, and medication usage
- Managing patient records and ensuring accurate data entry into medical software systems
- Performing contact lens evaluations and fittings
- Assisting in the fitting and adjusting of corrective eyewear
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the daily calendar
- Managing inventory of medical supplies and ordering new stock as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients
-Patient Diagnosis - Provide comprehensive Eye examination, and evaluations of Glaucoma, Cataract, Retina, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro Ophthalmology, Laser procedures and diagnostic testing. -Local Rule- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility.
