Job Details - The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room.
- The OR RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to: scheduling cases, ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and circulating surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
Job Requirements - Must have Idaho RN license
- Must have 3 years recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting; experience with General surgery, Davinci preferred, Ortho, robotic knee replacement, trauma, and Neuro.
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission.
Schedule Information - This will be for 8 hour shifts, Day shift, ; Monday through Friday with call, one day a week and one weekend a month.
